Several years ago, I began to have an interest in training horses.  I was given a 3 yr. old 1/2 Arab stallion. Knowing absolutely nothing about training I did what all good do it yourselfers do.................
I got a book! That training was successful; I guess you could say it was "beginners luck"!
      Many horses later and having worked with several "Professional" trainers, I decided there must be a better way.  
I saw a little ad in a national magazine about a man by the name of John Lyons who had a book, and an idea of using a gentler method to train horses. After my first Symposium I was hooked. 
Never again would I use another method. 
     There was yet to be a long road to accomplishing the goal I had set for myself. 
Some how, some way I was going to be a Certified Trainer. 
I had no idea what that would entail!  This course was very intense and difficult, to say the least. In order to complete this course I needed sheer determination, ( my husband says stubbornness ! ) nothing else was going to get me through. Today I look back on that experience and realize what richness it has given my life.  I am doing what I love to do, train horses and help people.
